(10-22-14) Bassick picked up the 1st Bridgeport Challenge Volleyball Championship with a 3-0 win over Central.

Player of the Match was Bassick’s  J’Daya Hawthorne who had 16 kills and  5 aces to lead the Lions to the Challenge title.  It’s her second time to pick up the honor.

(10-22-14) Wednesday will decide who wins the Bridgeport Challenge Girls Volleyball title.  Both Bassick and Central have already beaten Harding.  Bassick did it in three games and Central won 3-1.

(10-10-14) In the first ever Bridgeport Challenge Central shut out Bassick 37-0.

Central was led by Mykel Morris who had 3 TD’s to lead the ground game for the Hilltoppers.

Bassick’s next Challenge game is November 1st against Harding.  While Central will wait for the traditional Thanksgiving Day (11/27 /14) game against Harding to possibly pick-up the Challenge title.

 (10-8-14) Bassick picked up a big Challenge win over Harding 25 – 14, 26 – 24, 25 – 22.  With the win it sets up a Challenge Championship game on October 22nd against Central.  Harding ends the Challenge at 0-2.
