Xavier Bass wins at Class L State Wrestling Championships at 182.

Harding’s Xavier Bass has had a great school year, he helped lead the Presidents to a Bridgeport Challenge Football Title and was also named the Challenge MVP.

Bass also picked up MVP honors in a non-scoring Challenge event against Central in their wrestling match-up this past season.

Recently Bass took it to the State level in wrestling,  winning the  Class L Wrestling State Championship at 182 as he pinned Jayden Rodriguez of Middletown, 3:39. It’s Harding’s first individual title since 2005 (Joey Bullard, 135).
